Registered Nurse - Neuro Telemetry (Night Shift)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Neuro Telemetry unit to provide high-quality patient care. The position involves caring for patients with a variety of neurology diagnoses, utilizing the NIH scale for assessments and care management.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a designated stroke unit, capable of performing thrombectomies.
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and care coordination.
• Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias as well as other neuro-related care.
• Assist in pre/post neurosurgery care and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Neurology/Telemetry unit preferred.
• Current RN license (Compact license required for submission).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and understanding of chest tube management.
