Physical Therapist Part-Time Professional – Tarzana, CA, US. Salary Range: $50.00 to $65.00 hourly. Join Our Team as a Staff Physical Therapist! We are on a mission to help individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurologic diagnoses regain independence and live meaningful lives. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in this journey. Impact on Patients: Your work will directly impact patients by: Helping them regain mobility and independence through personalized treatment plans. Providing pain relief and improving their quality of life with various therapy techniques. Supporting their emotional and psychological well‑being by fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Empowering them to achieve their goals and navigate the challenges of their condition. Shifts: Part Time. Flexible schedule: any three weekdays (Monday through Friday), 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities: Initiate and maintain therapeutic programs: develop and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals. Conduct evaluations: administer initial evaluations, identify primary impairments, and use appropriate outcome measures to create effective treatment plans. Implement treatment programs: provide therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, home evaluations with recommendations, orthotic and assistive device recommendations, and therapeutic home programs; engage patients in mobility, neurodevelopmental sequence, flexibility, and extremity manipulation exercises; assist with navigating different surfaces, providing assistance as needed. Provide pain relief: use modalities such as hot packs, cold packs, neuromuscular stimulation units, transcutaneous nerve stimulation units, and perform light and deep massage. Program management: continuously monitor patient progress to ensure effectiveness of treatment programs; review and update programs through interim evaluations. Supervise and guide: instruct clinic aides on daily treatment plans, supervise their work, and provide guidance and advice as needed; supervise students and share expertise. Reporting and communication: maintain accurate records and reports; consult with patients, insurance representatives, families, and therapists from various clinic disciplines to provide guidance and information. Qualifications: Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of employment. Membership in APTA is desirable.
