Production Supervisor
Pay: Based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Supervisor to support 1st-shift operations at a manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio specializing in fiberglass conduit and bridge drainage systems. This position will help oversee daily production activities while supporting quality, safety, and production standards.
Job Duties
- Oversee daily production activities on 1st shift
- Help ensure production schedules and quality standards are maintained
- Provide direction and support to production employees
- Monitor production operations and address issues as they arise
- Promote a safe and organized manufacturing environment
- Communicate production needs and concerns with the appropriate team members
- Ensure established work procedures and company standards are followed
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Comfortable working in a hot, dusty, and dirty manufacturing environment
- Ability to work around production machinery
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, bending, and lifting as needed
- Steel-toe boots required
