Overview
Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.
The Work:
The Logistics Governance, Risk, and Compliance Manager will lead efforts in monitoring, auditing, and enforcing risk management and compliance strategies across large-scale logistics operations. This individual will provide expertise in supply chain risk analytics, orchestrate performance monitoring, and drive remediation efforts to ensure adherence to enterprise-wide best practices and policies.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage enterprise supply chain risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, audit readiness requirements, and operational policies on a large scale.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop remediation strategies to address supply chain vulnerabilities across tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
- Perform formal audits, engagements, and ongoing risk analytics to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments for team members, providing constructive feedback and ensuring equitable treatment of staff.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on logistics management best practices, operational risk analytics, and internal frameworks for supply chain remediation initiatives.
- Rapidly review and analyze new governing documents, translating updated policies into actionable operational strategies.
- Leverage insights from data analytics to oversee and direct HQ-level management review controls, respectfully challenging risk postures as necessary.
- Provide leadership in evaluating program metrics, integrating industry-leading methodologies, and ensuring adherence to enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise supply chain risk management, including compliance monitoring, auditing, and enforcement activities.
- 5+ years of experience performing risk analytics, driving formal audit engagements, and directing HQ-level monitoring controls.
- Expertise in logistics management best practices and audit readiness standards with an emphasis on execution risk and compliance controls.
- Knowledge of operational risk analytics, advanced audit methodologies, and enterprise-wide supply chain remediation frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to review governing documents and perform thorough analysis to inform operational strategies and data analytics initiatives.
- Competence in leveraging insights to direct HQ-level management review controls and challenge risk postures effectively.
- Successful track record in planning and distributing work assignments, providing feedback and evaluation, and promoting a fair and equitable work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within Navy ordnance units or managing munitions readiness.
- Experience supervising or auditing Type Commanders (TYCOMs) or Navy Munitions Commands (NMC).
- Hands-on experience with the Defense Financial Improvement Audit Remediation (FIAR) process.
- Knowledge of conventional ordnance management policies, particularly in executing the Management Review Control (MRC) activities outlined in NAVSUP P-724 Section 4.5.
- Expertise in applying logistics risk frameworks to explosive safety, munitions routing, and Class V inventory control.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Master’s degree in fields such as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Auditing, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification.
- Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification.

Working Conditions:
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.

- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
