Pay Rate: Up to $75/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Principal to support financial analysis, SEC reporting, and consolidated financial reporting for a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings, interpreting regulatory guidance, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review SEC filings, financial statements, and related disclosures.
• Analyze financial results, identify key variances, and provide insights to senior management.
• Research and interpret SEC and regulatory guidance and apply requirements to financial disclosures.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Partner with Controllership, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Review financial models, forecasts, budgets, and general ledger activities.
• Support financial reporting requirements related to merger activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with SEC reporting and public company financial reporting.
• Experience with financial or regulatory reporting for a consolidated company.
• Ability to research, interpret, and apply SEC or regulatory guidance to financial filings.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with general ledger and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Experience in public accounting or corporate financial reporting.
