Position Overview

SD Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team.

We provide residential and light commercial plumbing services, including new construction, renovations, installations, repairs, and service work.

The ideal candidate is an experienced plumber who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, can work independently, communicates professionally with customers, and works well with other trades.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work while maintaining a safe and organized job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Perform plumbing installations for new construction, kitchen and bathroom remodels, and renovation projects.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.
• Install and service plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping systems, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing diagrams.
• Measure, cut, thread, solder, and assemble piping using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide updates on work performed.
• Accurately document completed work, materials used, and job-related information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid New Hampshire Journeyman Plumber License required.
• Experience in residential plumbing, renovations, and service work.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and installation techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely lift materials, operate equipment, and perform the physical duties associated with plumbing work.
• Experience with heating systems, HVAC-related plumbing, or additional mechanical trades is a plus.
