It unites us, inspires us, and challenges us to be better every day, driven by our agile, performance-focused culture.About the RoleAs a Senior Scientist, Medical & Scientific Affairs - Oral Health, you will advance the science behind Haleon's leading oral health brands, including Sensodyne and Parodontax. You will be responsible for supporting evidence generation, claims development, scientific communications, medical education, and engagement with oral health professionals and external experts. This role is focused on the oral health category and is ideal for candidates with oral care, dental, periodontal health, dentin hypersensitivity, or related scientific expertise who are passionate about improving everyday oral health for consumers. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and implementation of oral health medical strategies, including evidence generation, claims substantiation, scientific communications, and medical education.Conduct literature reviews and scientific analyses to support oral health product positioning and claims development.Contribute to research initiatives, including study planning, protocol development, and evidence generation activities.Develop and communicate scientifically robust information for consumers, oral healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.Support the creation and review of promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance.Partner with marketing, R&D, and cross-functional teams to translate oral health science into meaningful consumer benefits.Coordinate advisory boards, consultant interactions, and engagement with dental experts and key opinion leaders.Develop evidence-based responses to scientific and medical inquiries.Monitor emerging oral health science, consumer trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, dental professionals, and external experts to advance category leadership.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Oral Health Sciences, Healthcare, Dental Hygiene, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.1-3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Clinical Research, or a related field.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree such as DDS, DMD, RDH, PharmD, PhD, or other relevant healthcare qualification.4+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or Scientific Affairs within oral health, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.Experience in oral health, preventive dentistry, periodontal health, dentin hypersensitivity, oral care products, or related categories.Experience communicating scientific information to dental professionals or oral healthcare experts.Strong background in scientific interpretation, claims development, and evidence-based communications.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Location: This role is based in Warren, New Jersey and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week.The salary range for this role is: $128,579 - $176,796 plus an 12% on-target annual bonus.BenefitsHaleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
