As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading the full software development lifecycle and product development process for various solutions Managing complex, multi-disciplinary programs from concept to market including schedule and investment tracking Driving cross-functional activities and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion Applying technical knowledge and initiative to contribute actively in collaborative team discussions Utilizing clear written and verbal communication skills to foster trust and facilitate coordinated execution Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders using standardized methods Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and collaborative leadership to cross-functional team members Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent Possess experience navigating ambiguity, managing risks, and adapting to changing priorities Demonstrate ability to inspire people at all levels of the organization without direct authority Demonstrate solid capability in change management and transformation processes Have experience with Agile methodologies and managing cross-functional technical teams About us At Akamai, we make life better for billions of people, trillions of times a day. Compensation Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $119,600 - $215,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
