The Freight Forwarder, Ocean Export is responsible for overseeing the export of goods via ocean transport. This position ensures that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that export processes are executed in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Analyze market trends and identify areas for process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Oversee documentation for export shipments.

Educational background / Work experience:

• Familiarity with export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and industry best practices.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Proficient in using computer software programs related to logistics and supply chain management.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with ocean freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls.
• Knowledge of shipping routes and schedules.
• Language skills: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with logistics software and systems is required.

The expected base pay range is: $22.50 - $30.50 / Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
