POSITION OVERVIEW: The Segue Institute for Learning Public Charter School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified Certified Teacher High School Mathematics to join our team. This position will play a critical role in supporting the district’s mission of providing high-quality education to all students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, committed to student success, and capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Plans and implements rigorous unit and lesson plans with high-quality curriculum material to meet Common Core State Standards Sets clear expectations, routines, and procedures to ensure productive and efficient use of class time Administers formative and summative assessments to inform instructional practices and provide feedback to students Establishes and model district’s core values in all communication and interaction with students, staff and families Demonstrates exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skills Differentiates classroom instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including students with disabilities and multilingual learners, and provides accommodations and scaffolding instruction where appropriate Centers classroom management and student behavior in PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) and Restorative Justice practices Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, families, and other professionals on a regular basis. Ensures that student growth and achievement is continuous and appropriate for age group, subject area, and/or program classification.
