Make a meaningful difference while working as a Special Education Teacher in a contract position supporting K–12 students. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive environment and directly impact academic growth for students with diverse abilities. Collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff in a welcoming school community just outside the Casa Grande area.
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education, Education, or a related field
- Previous experience working with students with mild to moderate learning or behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for individualized instruction
What you’ll do:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs and IEP goals
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere encouraging growth, self-advocacy, and inclusion
- Monitor student progress toward academic and social-emotional objectives
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to support student success
- Engage with families to ensure ongoing communication and partnership in student learning
- Maintain timely and accurate records and adhere to all state and federal regulations
