The Avalon Transportation chauffeur is a consummate professional – highly trained and required to complete a rigorous and detailed program before they take the wheel. Position Overview Title: Accounts Receivable Associate Category: AR Associate Division: Avalon Transportation LLC Location: Corporate Office – 1000 Corporate Pointe, Culver City Employment Type: Full‑time (also accepts part‑time applicants) Hourly Rate: $23 to $25 per hour Workplace: In‑office, no remote or hybrid options Reports To: Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities Opening of accounts, bank and trade reference check for DB accounts. Perform cash receipts, journal posting (lockbox, wire, check deposits, offsets and adjustments). Weekly and monthly ride reconciliation reports. Daily credit card settlement report. Bi‑monthly and monthly invoicing. Direct billing against credit card instructions. Handle all inquiries regarding ride receipts, costing issues, disputes, invoice copies, account updates and customer service responses. Secure revenue by accurately verifying and posting receipts. Set up accounts correctly. Review accounts receivable aging and follow up on past‑due accounts. Perform weekly cash reconciliation with strong attention to detail. Filing work as part of the daily tasks. Assist AR manager on assigned projects as needed. Position Requirements Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, effective oral and written communication, and human‑relation skills. Ability to focus on problem solving and work under pressure. Analytical abilities to review and exercise good judgment. Comfortable in performing repetitive work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability to changing environment. Working effectively with team members toward a common objective.
