An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a student in a dedicated 1:1 setting near Northampton, PA. This contract position offers the chance to make a significant difference in a student's school experience, ensuring their medical needs are met with compassion and professionalism. With a consistent schedule of at least three days per week (21 hours in total), you will be an essential part of the school community.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Prior school nursing experience or a strong background working with pediatric populations.
• Ability to provide direct 1:1 care, attending to specific healthcare needs during the school day.
• Knowledge of typical school health protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with school staff, students, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive healthcare support to a student requiring 1:1 nursing during school hours.
• Administer daily medications, monitor health status, and address any medical emergencies that arise.
• Document care provided and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrative staff.
• Follow established policies and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for the student.
• Serve as an advocate for the student’s well-being, ensuring inclusivity and full participation in the school day.
