Senior Counsel Defense Attorney - Toxic Tort

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a senior counsel attorney with over eight years of experience in toxic tort and/or product liability, based in California. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the relevant practice areas and be licensed to practice in California.
Duties
- Manage cases and conduct discovery.
- Prepare and argue motions.
- Prepare cases for trial.
- Lead depositions and collaborate with experts.
- Supervise and mentor associates.
- Make in-person appearances as needed.
Qualifications
- Admitted to the State Bar of California.
- Reside in California.
- 8+ years of experience in civil litigation defense, including toxic tort or product liability.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Trial experience is a plus.
Education
Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Admitted to the State Bar of California.
