Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state manufacturing organization to hire an Accountant II based in Eugene, Oregon. Working closely with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and CFO, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities while expanding your technical skills and taking on projects that will prepare you for future advancement. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting.
• Analyze financial results and research account variances.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with process improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Support audit preparation and financial review activities.
• Participate in ERP and reporting improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to support business operations.
• Cross-train and provide support across multiple accounting functions.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to audit support or public accounting is a plus.
• Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or product-based industry experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
