Must-Have: Experience in a high-paced Nuclear Medicine Department

Description: Hiring process includes profile review with clinical team and interview with unit manager. Candidates must be within a 60-mile radius and a driver's license must be submitted. Orientation week requires clinicians to be in state, even during remote modules. The department consists of four imaging rooms. No floating or covering of other areas required. Common imaging studies include cardiac, HIDA, gastric empty, parathyroid, thyroid, and thyroid therapy. Average number of scans/studies performed daily is between six to ten. The department uses EPIC and Synapse/PACS for charting and communication systems. Department specific equipment includes GE and Siemens machines. IVs must be started by the technologist when applicable. Weekend and holiday call requirements are part of the job duties. Scrubs are not provided; solid colors are required with no prints or graphics. The hospital has the right to cancel up to four shifts during the 13-week assignment. Radiologist is available in-house. Experience is preferred in a fast-paced Nuclear Medicine environment.
