You'll gain access to hands-on training to fuel your growth and success, explore opportunities for new solutions, and you'll join a winning team of 10,000+ people all dedicated to raising the bar – together.If you have a strong drive for results, a desire to help us bring the world together through our fries, and are ready for a fresh challenge, we want to hear from you.The Sanitation utility position covers a wide variety of jobs requiring work in packaging, warehouse, production, batter room, and outside during production periods, line breaks, and weekend sanitation as directed by the Sanitation Team Leader, Sanitation Leader, and/or Team Leader.Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area: Sweep, shovel potatoes, fries, and other debris, rake, vacuum, hose, scrape, paint, pull vines, and shovel snow as directed.Adapt to different work environments: work in the wet prep area, outside, packaging, and batter area.Stand or sit in a stationary position to perform duties.Work around Line 1, 2, 7 & 8 fryers and other processing equipment.Scrape and remove static product on Lines 1, 2, 7 & 8 packaging equipment to include: grader room, Ishida room, and glue deck.Dumps waste barrels in packaging and production area.Follow gutter policy and insure gutter grates are kept in place.Prepare and/or mix cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.Use foaming equipment to apply cleaning chemicals to equipment.Scrub equipment using scrub brushes and/or pads to clean, sanitize, and polish equipment using cleaning chemicals.Rinse cleaning chemicals off equipment using a high-pressure water hose.Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area: Sweep with a broom and/or squeegee, shovel, scrub using scrub brushes and/or pads and scrapers, and rinse equipment with high-pressure water and/or air hoses.Ability to enter confined spaces and follow all confined space procedures.Perform Fire Watch duties and follow all procedures.Follow fall protection policies and the proper equipment.Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures in assigned area.Use ladders or lift equipment to perform sanitation duties.Perform painting projects. Which may include scrapping, sanding, and preparing surfaces for painting?Participate in Behavior Based Observations and Hazard ID's as instructed by Team Leader.Actively practice and abide by all company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.Maintain good housekeeping in his/her assigned area including following/auditing 5S practices.Utilize and inspect Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per company policy and notify Sanitation Team Leader, Team Leader, or Lead if replacement is required. Per specific customer request, will be required to wear additional PPE.Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Lead personnelPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.
