Junk Removal Specialists perform a variety of tasks related to the removal and disposal of unwanted items, clutter, and debris. They ensure the efficient and safe removal of junk from residential or commercial properties.

The Junk Removal Specialist’s daily duties and responsibilities include:

• Evaluating the type and volume of junk to determine the best removal method
• Safely and efficiently removing unwanted items, trash, and debris from clients’ properties
• Sorting and separating items for recycling, donation, or disposal
• Transporting junk to appropriate recycling centers, landfill sites, or disposal facilities
• Performing basic cleaning tasks after the removal of junk to ensure client satisfaction
• Providing estimates for junk removal services to potential clients
• Adhering to local regulations and company policies regarding waste disposal
• Maintaining and cleaning removal equipment and vehicles
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving complaints

Job Brief

We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Junk Removal Specialist to assist in the safe and efficient removal of unwanted items from our clients’ properties.

Responsibilities include sorting and categorizing items for disposal or recycling, conducting heavy lifting and loading items into the junk removal truck, and ensuring the cleanliness of client premises post-removal.

The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent physical stamina, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform junk removal duties including lifting, loading, and sorting items.
• Identify items for recycling, donation, or disposal in line with company policy and local regulations.
• Operate junk removal trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning client premises post-removal.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations during junk removal operations.
• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of junk removal trucks and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in junk removal, moving, warehousing, or a similar physical role is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of local recycling and waste disposal regulations.

• Pay Range: $41,000minimum to $52,000 maximum
