Must be 18 or older, you will safely and efficiently handle loading and unloading tasks, operating a forklift to load pallets of refreshing beverages onto semi-trailers and managing returned pallets from route trucks. Your attention to detail will shine as you put away inventory and organize dunnage from returns, ensuring our dock remains clutter-free and ready for upcoming loads.Additionally, you'll assist in swapping trailers with the yard jockey truck, playing a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. You must have the physical capability to lift up to 80 lbs frequently and handle heavier loads, utilizing mechanical aids as needed. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and compliance with OSHA guidelines is essential for maintaining a secure workspace.Experience with inventory control and accurate record-keeping, combined with the ability to operate yard jockey trucks for swapping trailers, will set you apart. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a problem-solving mindset will empower you to excel in this vital role.
