Volunteer | Remote | MarComms Team | ~5 hours per week

Includes: 1-hour MarComms Team meeting (Thursdays at 11am EST) + 1-hour Social Media meeting (flexible)

Who We Are

Creshendo is a young and rapidly growing organization exploring how AI and automation can strengthen our communications systems. We are looking for volunteers who are creative, curious, and eager to learn new digital tools. This role offers hands-on experience with emerging AI platforms, content automation, and social media strategy, and is ideal for someone who wants to build strong, marketable skills in a changing job landscape. About the Role

Creshendo is a global, volunteer-led nonprofit working with migrant and refugee communities across storytelling, integration, and economic mobility.

We’re a small, fast-moving team spread across countries and time zones. People here take initiative, figure things out, and care deeply about the work.

We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to help us turn momentum into consistency.

We already have strong ideas, content, and direction. What we need is someone who can step in, take ownership, and keep everything moving.

If you like working independently, thinking ahead, and being surrounded by people who are building something from the ground up, this role will feel natural.

What You’ll Do

Content Coordination

• Manage the content calendar across social media and newsletters
• Work with team leads to gather and organize content
• Keep everything aligned with timelines and priorities

Newsletter Execution

• Work closely with our newsletter lead to move drafts to completion
• Track progress and ensure consistency in quality and timing

Team Coordination

• Follow up with contributors across teams
• Keep communication clear, direct, and respectful
• Make sure nothing falls through the cracks

Execution and Consistency

• Move content from idea to publication
• Identify gaps early and address them
• Maintain a steady and reliable publishing rhythm
