Assignment Details

36 hours per week. Unit accepts contracts of 13-26 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Strong skills in IV start, telemetry, CPAP/BiPAP, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to float to like units.
• Required to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for mixed acuity unit with PCU and medical-surgical/telemetry patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including respiratory therapists and nurse leaders.
• Assist with the management of ventilators for chronic tracheostomy and ventilator patients.
• Participate in patient admission and discharge processes.

Compliance / Notes

Must pass EKG testing prior to start. RTO not allowed after booking; a maximum of 7 days RTO is permitted for auto offers.
