This role will take on more advanced responsibilities, including designing and implementing test automation frameworks, conducting complex test scenarios, and mentoring junior team members.Essential Duties:Develop and execute a comprehensive quality engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals. Define and implement best practices for quality engineering throughout the development lifecycle.Design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks.Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing. Ensure a high level of test coverage for critical business functionalities.Evaluate, select, and implement testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality engineering process.Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Enforcebest practices to streamline the testing and quality engineering processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to quality.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality engineering. Prepare and present reports on the effectiveness and efficiency of quality engineering efforts.Identify and manage risks related to quality engineering activities. Proactively address potential issues to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality engineering.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficient knowledge of Web UI, Mobile, Tablet application testingProficient knowledge of Media, Video, Voice IVR/RTP firmware/hardware testingProficient using testing/documentation/repository Tools: Jira/Jira zephyr, Confluence, Bamboo, Gitlab or Other Leading tracking systemProficient using Linux or UNIX basic commandsProficient using SQL statement in Oracle, MSQL or MySQLProficient using Mongo DB, Couchbase, Elasticsearch,Postgreetc KnowledgeonRabbit MQ, Kibana/LogStash, ETL, JBoss, Tomcat, Liferay/DXPetcKnowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and other development methodologies.Excellent problem solving and resolution skillsExcellent verbal & written communication with all peersAbility to Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED5+ years of Experience to include:Experience with test automation tools andframeworks(selenium, Hammer, Jira, Rest Assured, TestNG,Appium ).Proficient with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java,javascript) for automation.Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead and mentor a team.Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree7+yearsCertifications in relevant testing tools or methodologies.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and office equipment.Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.Salary and Benefits: At Aventiv, our salary and benefits are designed to fit you as a whole person.
