Within the pharmacy department, the Ambulatory Pharmacy Director will guide an integrated medication management enterprise that supports outpatient clinics, specialty services, transitions-of-care programs, and population health initiatives across a multi-campus network, 400+ bed facility with scalable infrastructure designed to support high-acuity care, rapid access to therapeutics, and seamless ambulatory workflows.

Reporting to a system-level pharmacy executive, the Ambulatory Pharmacy Director will be supported by clinical managers, coordinators, and informatics specialists while partnering closely with friendly nurses and a diverse healthcare team of physicians, APPs, case management, and quality leaders. The Ambulatory Pharmacy Director will oversee clinical and operational performance for ambulatory and outpatient pharmacy services, optimize protocols and collaborative practice agreements, elevate medication safety and stewardship, steward budgets and staffing models, enhance EHR build and automation, mentor pharmacists and residents, and champion continuous improvement to advance outcomes and patient experience.
