Retail Customer Service Associate Part Time

Responsibilities Deliver superior member service, including greeting, assisting, and thanking all members in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner. Resolve member concerns in a courteous and timely manner and, when necessary, escalate issues to management. Maintain and exhibit a clear understanding of merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols, following the BEST (bottom of the cart, electronics, self‑checkout, and thanking the member) procedures. Audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pickup, and Same‑Day Delivery according to company procedures. Ensure execution of repack awareness guidelines by inspecting known repack articles. Monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club, responding to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms according to established procedures. Maintain high safety standards for members and team members, inspecting bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes as members leave the building. Process empty water jug return vouchers to members and maintain all club policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance as an essential function of this job. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA); Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean; and deliver GOLD club standards daily with a clean, organized, and positive environment. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and an attention to detail. Basic math skills preferred. Ability to use a smart handheld device. Successfully complete required training and certification processes. Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months. At least 18 years of age; in Indiana at least 19, and in Delaware at least 21. Job Conditions All work is performed standing and moving about on hard surfaces. Work may require bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, climbing ladders or step stools, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Employees will be exposed to indoor and outdoor temperatures. Compensation In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position: $17.25 – $20.70 per hour.
