The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating visually impactful static and motion‑based design solutions across both traditional and digital advertising platforms. This role involves collaborating with marketing managers, clients, the production and digital teams to understand design needs and develop creative concepts that align with client objectives and brand goals. This position produces a wide range of deliverables, including print materials, digital assets, and video and motion content such as animations, social media videos, OTT advertising, and end tags. In addition to execution, the Multimedia Designer serves as a subject‑matter expert in graphic and video design, guiding conversations around emerging creative tools, trends, and best practices while staying ahead of the rapidly evolving design landscape, including the use of AI‑powered tools. This role plays a key part in establishing, maintaining, and evolving a strong, consistent, and engaging visual brand presence across all client channels. This includes maintaining brand continuity and ensuring visual consistency across all platforms, including print, direct mail, social media, email, websites, video/motion‑based content, and television. The designer will work within the agency’s project management system to maintain timelines, track revisions, and ensure adherence to established processes. They are expected to contribute to the evolution of creative workflows and proactively identify opportunities to streamline production and improve quality. Execution and Results : Responsible for developing and executing high‑impact visual design and motion graphics across a wide range of digital and print media. Utilizes industry‑standard creative software, including Adobe Creative Cloud and AI‑powered design tools, to produce engaging, on‑brand creative assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Brand guides and logos Brochures, direct mailers, and print collateral Social media graphics and digital ads Digital assets Animated ads, motion graphics, and video content Short‑form video assets (Reels, Stories, OTT, YouTube) Optimize video formats, durations, and aspect ratios for various platforms Television end tags The designer must adhere to project deadlines and brand guidelines while ensuring that all deliverables are accurate and high‑quality, including proofreading all elements before final delivery. Collaboration with the production team, Scrum Master, and Marketing Managers ensures timely adjustments that support on‑time, on‑brand, client‑ready deliverables. Successful execution directly supports lead generation, customer engagement, video performance metrics, and brand visibility. Research and Development : Serve as an internal expert in graphic and video design. Lead conversations around creative tools, trends, and best practices while staying current on evolving design technologies, software, and the AI landscape. Continuously enhance skills across both static and motion disciplines, adapt to changing project demands, and bring fresh, innovative ideas to every project with a solution‑oriented mindset. Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with clients, Marketing Managers, production teams, and digital marketing staff to understand client objectives and deliver cohesive, on‑brand visual solutions. The Multimedia Designer acts as a creative partner in concept development, including campaign ideation, storyboarding, and brand‑building strategies. Clear and timely communication ensures alignment on goals, creative direction, and delivery expectations. Collaboration across departments supports strategic initiatives and client satisfaction. Other duties as assigned by the department supervisor. Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating both static design and motion/video work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects Experience creating motion graphics, animation, and video content (required) Working knowledge of WordPress and Microsoft Office 365 Solid understanding of traditional print design and production (typesetting, file setup, etc.) Ability to storyboard and translate concepts into both static and motion deliverables Proficiency in audio editing and video production workflows, including leveraging AI‑powered tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients and internal teams Strong attention to detail with the ability to uphold company accuracy standards (branding, offers, DISCLAIMERS, etc.) Excellent reading, writing, and math skills Must be able to proofread own work and the work of others to ensure high‑quality products, including correct client, headline, offer, phone number, and spelling checks. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements The job is usually performed indoors in a traditional office setting. The position is a hybrid in‑office position, and standard hours of work and days are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position is in the office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. Occasional local travel may be required. Activities Include Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor. The ability to communicate orally with clients, candidates, management, and coworkers, individually and in front of a group, is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential for everyday conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. It requires good manual dexterity when using standard office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, copiers/scanners). No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 30 lbs. of force (e.g., tablets, laptops, computers, office supplies) may occasionally be required. The employee is required to bend and stoop.
