Assignment Details
Patient ratio: 1:6, Census: ~20 patients
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a relevant field
- State or Compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Key clinical skills: telemetry monitoring, neurological assessments, IV management, blood product administration, respiratory care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological and surgical conditions
- Monitor patient status using telemetry and pulse oximetry
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and care plans
- Participate in the rapid response team as needed
