The ideal candidate is a versatile, self-driven developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of complex technical challenges, and actively leverages AI-powered tools to accelerate and elevate the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Responsibilities:Possesses a solid understanding and familiarity of systems and processes within job area.Preemptively identifies and resolves technical risks before they jeopardize the project. Resolves cross-team dependencies earlier to ensure the successful execution of the project.Solves complex business problems and implement ways to simplify code and infrastructure.Prioritizes tasks that lead to lower system and infrastructure maintenance and migration costs with meaningful and measurable impact.Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications supporting regulatory operationsApply GenAI tools and techniques throughout the SDLC to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery speedBuild and enforce automated testing strategies to ensure code reliability, performance, and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams — including product, data, and compliance stakeholders — to deliver high-impact software solutionsLead and participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and mentor peersContinuously optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainabilityContribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps best practicesRequired Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 5 years of hands-on full stack development experienceDemonstrated track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade softwareBackend DevelopmentExpert-level Java development with spring and spring boot expertise.Proven experience designing and building microservices and RESTful APIs at enterprise scaleStrong database design and query optimization skills across relational systems (PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB, Spark SQL)Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data processingFrontend DevelopmentExpert in building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications using React, Angular, and JavaScriptExperience with component-driven architecture and modern frontend best practicesStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+) standardsTesting & Quality AssuranceHands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent)Experience designing and maintaining comprehensive regression test suitesFamiliarity with performance testing tools and methodologiesStrong commitment to test-driven development (TDD) and code qualityCloud & InfrastructureHands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Fargate, S3, RDS, Lambda, and EMRExperience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)AI-Augmented DevelopmentDemonstrated experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., Kiro, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) to accelerate code generation, optimization, and development workflowsAbility to apply GenAI techniques to improve SDLC processes including requirements analysis, code review, test generation, and documentationFamiliarity with AI/ML modeling concepts and integrating AI capabilities into applicationsA developer who writes clean, testable, well-documented code and holds others to the same standardSomeone who proactively adopts emerging AI tools to work smarter and deliver fasterA collaborative team player who can also work independently and drive initiatives to completionA problem-solver with strong analytical thinking and attention to detailPassion for building technology that has real regulatory and investor protection impactPreferred Skills:AWS certifications (Solutions Architect or Associate Developer)GitLab CI/CD experienceGenAI certificationsBy applying for a job with SGA, you agree to allow SGA to process your application for this and future opportunities in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
