Backstage Experience Coordinator

Job Summary: The Backstage Experience Coordinator (BEC) will administer and support various Live Nation and venue‑designed programs, maintain back‑of‑house hospitality expectations, and ensure an outstanding backstage experience for touring personnel. This part‑time, hourly position may involve up to 40 hours per week or more during peak season. Responsibilities Act as hospitality coordinator for touring personnel, greeting and assigning dressing rooms; serve as point of contact for all hospitality needs. Wash, dry, fold laundry and provide hand and bath towels. Check dressing rooms throughout the day to tidy up or assign porters for cleanup. Partner with local backstage catering to meet artists’ rider requirements and exceed culinary expectations. Participate in sustainability initiatives, including waste sorting, recycling and educating band members. Serve as the backstage brand ambassador and service culture program face. Complete post‑event service recap, analyze venue service reports, and create action plans for improvement. Research best practices, collaborate with Artist Services and Venue PM to develop engagement opportunities. Facilitate pre‑ and post‑show walk‑throughs with checklists, noting damage and arranging repairs. Oversee dressing room and bus stock, coordinate after‑show meals. Co‑manage backstage program budget and process vendor invoices. Maintain metrics, share data with Artist Services Team, track historic tour data, survey backstage tour personnel and manage competition rate. Coordinate memorable hospitality moments at each show, e.g., birthdays and special celebrations. Assist with production runs for the tour on select shows, when required. Qualifications 1+ year backstage/production/hospitality experience. 2–3 years in a comparable role. 1–2 years of leadership experience. Strong organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and creative‑solution skills. Ability to maintain composure around high‑profile artists/guests in a fast‑paced, loud environment. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs. using proper technique. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business, HR, or related field preferred. Public speaking or meeting facilitation skills a plus.
