About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound/Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 5 years License: Active License required Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN Must-Have: - Must be able to work independently with no supervision. - Experience performing General, OB, and AB procedures. - Certification in breast ultrasound preferred. Description: This is a day shift position with no weekend coverage required. On-call duties are as needed to cover other staff. Floating may be required between facilities located in close proximity. The candidate will manage a patient ratio of 1:1. Experience with charting in Epic is required. Candidates must possess the following certifications: BLS, ARDMS, ARDMS AB, and ARDMS OB/GYN. The role includes performing a variety of ultrasound procedures for different patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census is expected to be around 12 patients. Candidates should be comfortable floating and adapting to different settings within their scope of practice without restrictions. Travel experience is required, but no specific trauma level experience is necessary. All travelers will undergo compliance onboarding protocols as part of the hiring process.
