FINANCIAL RESOURCE SPECIALIST

Job Duties
The duties include:
- Analyzing financial information to confirm proper execution of funds in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, and as directed by the state.
- Providing support, guidance, and assistance to the State Conservationist (STC) and State Leadership Team (SLT).
- Projecting, planning, allocating, executing fund certification, managing/tracking, and reporting on the financial and technical assistance resources needed to carry out the business of conservation at the state, area, and field levels.
- Preparing a variety of recurring and non-recurring reports pertaining to financial management of programs and functions, for presentation to the supervisor and other management officials.
- Coordinating with National Service Delivery Teams to identify and resolve questions and errors related to budget allocation, execution, reporting and payments.
- Interacting and communicating with staff of the state, area, and field offices; national headquarters; and NSDTs as appropriate, as well as with other Federal and State agencies, external organizations, and members of the general public.
