Stripes & Stops is a leading pavement marking and traffic control company serving Houston and major airport projects. We are looking for a sharp, experienced Estimator who can price work accurately, move fast, and help us win profitable jobs.
What You'll Do
- Prepare estimates for striping, traffic control, and specialty work
- Read plans, specs, and bid documents (TxDOT, municipal, airport, private)
- Perform quantity takeoffs and build job cost estimates
- Coordinate with operations on production rates and job approach
- Track bids, follow up, and support project handoff afterward
What We're Looking For
- Experience in pavement marking, traffic control, or heavy civil estimating
- Strong understanding of TxDOT or similar public work
- Ability to read plans and turn bids quickly and accurately
- Organized, dependable, and accountable
- Local to Houston or willing to relocate
