Nurse Practitioner - PRN

Job Overview Matrix Medical Network pioneers the first national in-home clinical network, delivering comprehensive health assessments across the nation. We seek knowledgeable and compassionate Nurse Practitioners to conduct adult and geriatric assessments, order point-of-care and lab testing, and collaborate with physicians and other professionals to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct adult/geriatric assessments including medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up, and documentation according to Matrix guidelines. Administer and order point of care and lab-based testing as needed. Work with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as appropriate. Collaborate with the Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and follow up as necessary. Provide services at the member’s place of residence, which may include their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities. Benefits of Working at Matrix Flexibility – Visits are scheduled based on your availability, from Sunday to Saturday, 8 am to 7 pm. You can work during the day, evening and/or weekend. Competitive Pay – Earn income based on the number of assessments you complete. Monthly averages of 20–100 visits can earn $1,800–$11,500, based on a per-assessment completion rate of $90–$115, varying by state. Education and Support – Comprehensive onboarding, preceptor assignment, 1:1 feedback, free continuing education access. Additional Licensure – Support for obtaining state licensure and credentialing in neighboring or other states if required. Full-time Opportunities – PRN providers may transition to FT roles with a sign‑on bonus. Qualifications Master’s Degree or equivalent experience and completed NP licensure. Current NP licensure in the state of practice, including prescription authority or ability to obtain prescriptive authority. Board certification from AANP, AACN, or ANCC in one of the following specialties: Adult, Adult Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Gerontology Acute Care, Family, Emergency, or Acute Care. Current BLS, ACLS or CPR certification. Preferred: 1 year of NP experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. Valid state driver’s license and proof of adequate automobile insurance coverage for state of residence. Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record software.
