Procurement Multi-Family Manager

Position Responsibilities Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools Manages, develops and motivates employees Basic Qualifications At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large‑scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership” More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher More than 3 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts Security Clearance This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required. Export Control Requirements U.S. Person required; compliance with U.S. export control regulations. A “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Travel Position may require travel up to 25% of the time. Shift First shift. Pay & Benefits Pay range: $114,750 - $141,750.
