Travel Physical Therapist - $1,933 per week

Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job ID: #1406207 Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility. Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations and comply within the respective state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition. Use medical center computer systems in performance of daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state‑specific licensing. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. BLS and 2 years (certification) required. Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
