Nursing Assistant Trainee-Thomas Hospital - July 6, 2026
Infirmary Health
Nursing Assistant Training Program
Selected individuals will receive a 4 week nursing assistant education and training program.
The program includes:
- 2 weeks of classroom instruction (Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm) and hands on skills practice
- 2 weeks of bedside/patient care skills building (12 hour shifts)
All program graduates will sign a 12 month work commitment.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
If competency is achieved (attainment of competency test score required by department management) and upon successful completion of departmental orientation, the employee will be promoted to Nursing Assistant.
If competency is not achieved, employee must be moved out of this position or terminated in accordance with IH policy and procedures.
