MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING an experienced 1st Shift Turret Forklift Operator in Plainfield, IN!

Position Details

Position: Turret Forklift Operator
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Location: Plainfield, IN

Job Summary

As a Turret Forklift Operator, you will safely operate powered industrial equipment to receive, store, move, and ship materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate has previous turret forklift experience, follows safety procedures, and enjoys working in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a turret forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
Load, unload, move, and store products accurately and efficiently.
Safely enter and exit trailers while handling materials.
Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain awareness of personnel in equipment operating zones.
Verify product quantities, locations, destinations, and shipping information using work orders and other documentation.
Assist with weighing, wrapping, banding, and packaging materials as needed.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Previous turret forklift experience is required.
Ability to read, write, and interpret work instructions.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
Push, pull, carry, and move materials as needed.
Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.

Preferred Skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office applications.
