Job Details Date Posted: 1/7/2026 Location: GENERAL GREENE ELEMENTARY Date Available: 12/03/2025 Position Type: Classified - Afterschool Care (ACES) - Group Leader Fair Labor Standards Act Classification: Non-Exempt Position Term: 10 month Classification: Continuing Time Basis: Part-Time Benefits: Pro-Rated Starting Salary: $16.00 per hour Pay Grade: ACES Special Requirements ACES programs are licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and require an additional Criminal Background Check (CBC): If you are selected for this position, you must complete the following: Go to the NC DHHS CBC tutorials: ncchildcarecbc.nc.gov Obtain NCID (NC Identity Management Service): ncid.nc.gov/idmdash/ Begin CBC application process: ncabcms.nc.gov/DCDEE/Applicant/ You may need to enter addresses for the past 5 years. If you have lived out-of-state in the past 5 years, a DHHS representative will email instructions for each state’s background check. Print receipts for reimbursement if hired. At the end of the CBC application, a $26.50 fee is required by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Print your receipt for reimbursement if hired. Once the CBC application is complete, within 7 days you need to get fingerprints via LiveScan. Bring valid ID and $10 cash. Print your receipt for reimbursement if hired. LiveScan fingerprinting options (locations/times): Greensboro Police Department; Guilford County Sheriff; High Point Police Department After CBC application and fingerprinting are complete, you will receive an email from the DHHS CBC Portal with results and you will log in with your NCID. If cleared, you will receive a letter stating you are qualified under the NC Child Care Act.
