We are seeking an experienced PCB Design Engineer to design and develop high-performance PCBs for RF, microwave, mixed-signal, analog, and digital applications operating from MHz through multi-GHz frequencies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with RF PCB design, controlled impedance, signal integrity, PCB fabrication, and high-frequency materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Design single- and multilayer PCB layouts for RF, microwave, analog, digital, and mixed-signal applications.
• Develop controlled-impedance structures including microstrip, stripline, and CPWG.
• Optimize component placement and routing for signal integrity, isolation, grounding, shielding, and thermal performance.
• Design and support RF circuits while minimizing EMI/EMC, crosstalk, and parasitics.
• Develop PCB stack-ups using RF materials such as Rogers and hybrid constructions.
• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation, including Gerber/ODB++, drill files, drawings, and stack-up definitions.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, and PCB fabricators to ensure performance and manufacturability.
• Participate in design reviews and troubleshoot PCB-related manufacturing and assembly issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and follow applicable IPC and high-reliability design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of PCB design/layout experience , preferably with RF/microwave or high-frequency applications.
• Must have experience with Vacuum systems
• Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics PADS .
• Strong knowledge of controlled impedance, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, grounding, shielding, RF materials, and PCB fabrication.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and high-reliability design practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with ITAR-controlled data without a license , as required.
