Advanced Heart Failure nurses provide care to a highly acute population of cardiac progressive patients in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge in a highly specialized and rewarding environment. Patients we serve include those with heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, ST elevation myocardial infarction, post-catheterization, cardiac arrhythmias, pacemaker/defibrillator placement, and pulmonary hypertension. We also care for pre-surgical patients, including those undergoing VAD, transplant, and CABG procedures. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on days and nights.
