About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Somerville, Massachusetts, 02143!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Endoscopy Duration: Contract Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years in specialty License: Current RN license Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS required; SGNA preferred Must-Have: - Up-to-date resume - 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references - Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications - NURSYS Verification Report with RN license Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in an outpatient endoscopy setting. Nurses will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing elective outpatient procedures. Common patient diagnoses include colon cancer screenings and rectal bleeds. Patients range in age from 18 to 95 years. The facility features 4 procedure rooms, 5 pre-op areas, and 5 PACU bays. Nurses must be flexible and willing to float as needed. There are no on-call responsibilities. Work must occur every other major holiday. A flu vaccine is required during the flu season. The shift will typically run Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. A skills checklist matching the specialty is required. First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
