Pediatrician Position

UM Shore Medical Group at Easton, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking full-time experienced BE/BC Pediatrician to join a well-established practice with a third office location opening in Chestertown, MD. Job Description

• 100% outpatient responsibilities
• Birth-19 years of age providing well baby, routine check ups, immunization, patient education and sick visits
• Solo practice with advance practice provider support
• Opportunity to manage and care for families within a close knit community atmosphere.
• Excellent referral sources within the University of Maryland Medical Systems
• No hospital rounding
• Office/Clinic hours M-F 8-4:30 pm, light call requirements
• EPIC EMR
• Opportunity to grow the practice in the community

Qualifications

• Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
• Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
• Required minimum of year experience and ability to work in a solo practice
• Preferred bilingual Spanish speaking providers, but not required
• Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
• Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
• Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

• Compensation: $265,173.00 annually "The posted compensation reflects the range based on current MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the physician's experience, training, and qualifications"
• Other Compensation: generous sign-on package, including your choice of a $20,000-$25,000 sign-on bonus or a $50,000 housing allowance toward the purchase of a home in your first year. We also offer relocation assistance up to $10,000 and a competitive production bonus-all designed to support your transition and long-term success.
