**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Collier's at Tamarac. As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. This position is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to improving the lives of others.

**Responsibilities:**

- Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility procedures and healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the medical staff.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration, including dosages and times.
- Assist with daily living activities and provide support to residents as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training to remain current on best practices and policies.

- in between med passes, you will also provide care/ADL's, showers etc.

**Qualifications:**

- Certification as a Medication Technician (requirements may vary by state).
- Experience in an assisted living or healthcare facility is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
