Home Time: Every other weekend with a full 48-hour reset

Regional freight stability and predictable scheduling provide this CDL-A truck driver position with a consistent operating structure from week to week. Drivers based in Cleveland run established interstate lanes supported by regular customer freight and advance dispatch planning. Loads are coordinated ahead whenever possible to help maintain productive mileage and reduce unnecessary waiting between assignments.

Average haul lengths typically range from 700 to 750 miles, giving drivers longer runs that support steady weekly mileage. Consistent freight patterns also help create smoother transitions between loads throughout each 12-day operating cycle.

Route Details

Drivers haul mostly no-touch dry van freight across established multi-state routes. Loads include a combination of drop-and-hook and live freight, with the majority requiring no driver unloading. Regular customer demand helps maintain consistent freight movement throughout the year.

Pay & Benefits

Drivers typically earn between $1,300 and $1,450 per week depending on experience, miles, and freight flow. Detention pay is available for qualifying delays. After six months, drivers become eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Equipment Setup

Drivers operate 2021 and newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Many trucks include APUs, inverters, and refrigerator space for additional comfort during multi-day runs. Equipment is maintained through a company-supported maintenance network focused on minimizing service delays.

Operating Schedule

Drivers run a 12-day schedule followed by a full 48-hour reset at home every other weekend. Approved drivers may take their assigned truck home during resets or park at a company location if preferred.

CDL-A Driver Requirements

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience

Safe driving record

Ability to run interstate routes
