Exciting Nurse Practitioner Opportunities in Primary Care

Join our dedicated Primary Care team in the beautiful Coastal Region, specifically in North Myrtle Beach, SC. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to enhance our Express Care services. This role is perfect for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who excels in a collaborative setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients who may find it challenging to secure daytime appointments.

Key Highlights

• Qualifications: Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is preferred; a strong commitment to providing compassionate and accessible patient care is essential.
• Skills: Excellent clinical judgment, outstanding communication abilities, and comfort in managing patients independently during extended hours; a team-oriented approach is crucial.
• Practice Structure: Work within a collaborative team that includes 2 Physicians, 2 APPs, 1-2 Medical Assistants, and dedicated clerical/front office support.
• Schedule: Outpatient care only; no on-call duties. The working hours are as follows:
  • Monday to Thursday: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Sunday: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Ideal Candidate: We are looking for providers who prefer later hours, appreciate non-traditional schedules, or seek flexibility during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 100% outpatient primary care during extended hours.
• Assess and manage both acute and chronic health conditions.
• Perform examinations and create evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Coordinate care with supervising physicians and the clinic team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Provide patient-centered care that aligns with our organization's quality standards.

Orientation and Training

• Comprehensive onboarding process that includes structured shadowing and support from experienced physicians and APPs.
• Training designed to build confidence in workflow, clinic processes, and patient volume expectations.
