We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team located in Anaheim . The Medical Assistant will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care while assisting with clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient information.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and minor procedures.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, and EKGs as permitted by applicable regulations.
• Administer medications as directed by the provider and within the scope of practice.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Schedule appointments and assist with referrals, prescriptions, and patient communications.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and privacy standards.
• Maintain inventory and ensure clinical supplies are adequately stocked.
• Provide patients with a welcoming, respectful, and professional experience.
• Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred or required based on applicable regulations.
• Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care.
