About the Role:
The Director / Senior Director, Science plays an integral role that bridges scientific innovation, product development, clinical evidence, and commercial strategy. This person will act as a key scientific representative for Click, driving scientific communications and heavily enabling Business Development efforts.
Because we operate in a lean, fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate is highly flexible, action-oriented, and not overly process-driven. You will act as a scientific subject matter expert who can seamlessly pivot to support various products across our pipeline. We are looking for an MD or PhD with a strong academic and publication record who is eager to write, speak, and publish externally to elevate Click's scientific presence, while actively driving business partnerships forward.
This position can either be based out of Click's headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at our Industrious workspace in Boston, MA or remote. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 4 days in office each week.
Responsibilities:
- Scientific Communications & External Leadership
- Publish & Speak: Take a leading role in writing and publishing peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and clinical data presentations. Actively represent Click at external scientific, medical, and industry conferences.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and academic researchers.
- Bridging Science & Strategy: Translate complex clinical data and evidence-based medicine into compelling scientific narratives for external audiences, ensuring actionable insights are communicated effectively.
- BD Support: Provide deep scientific and medical credibility to business development efforts. Partner closely with the commercial and BD teams to evaluate opportunities, conduct scientific diligence, and create compelling proposals for partners.
- Partner Management: Serve as a scientific face of the company for existing and emerging partnerships, acting as a liaison between external stakeholders and internal R&D/product teams.
- Flexible Execution: Operate comfortably in a lean, dynamic startup environment. Provide hands-on scientific and medical leadership across multiple digital therapeutic products and pipeline assets as needed on a day-to-day basis.
- Product Collaboration: Work closely with product, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure that product development aligns with the latest clinical evidence and market access requirements in a regulated space.
Qualifications:
At Click, we aren't just looking for talent; we are looking for the next evolution of the modern professional. To us, AI is not a future possibility, it is a present-day prerequisite. We expect every Click colleague to have seamlessly integrated AI into their professional workflow and personal productivity, using it as a force multiplier to move faster, think deeper, and deliver superlative results that were previously out of reach. If you do not yet view AI as an essential partner in your daily pursuit of excellence, you will find it impossible to keep pace with our mission. High performers who harness AI technology to transcend traditional boundaries and set new benchmarks for professional excellence will thrive at Click.
- Education: A doctoral/professional degree (MD, PhD, PsyD, PharmD) is required.
- Clinical/Therapeutic Expertise: Deep expertise in a CNS discipline (e.g., psychiatry, neurology, psychology) and experience with evidence-based nonpharmacological / biobehavioral treatment is required. Experience in migraine or headache disorders, as well as wearable data, is highly preferred. Clinical practice experience is a plus.
- Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience in the life sciences, digital health, or pharmaceutical industry within a regulated space. Prior experience in product development, Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, or Commercial/BD enablement is highly desired.
- External Presence: Established record and proven willingness to write, publish, and speak externally.
- Work Style: Highly flexible, adaptable, and action-oriented. Not overly process-driven; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and roll up your sleeves to support various products and initiatives simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex scientific and clinical concepts into business opportunities and accessible language for diverse audiences.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is between: $165,000 - $195,000. The final base salary will be dependent upon skills, experience and location. In addition to the base salary, Click Therapeutics offers an annual performance-based cash bonus and a generous equity package.

All applicants must have authorization to work for Click Therapeutics in the U.S. In certain circumstances it may be advantageous to Click Therapeutics to support the application(s) for temporary visa classification and/or sponsor applications for permanent residence so that a foreign national colleague can accept or remain in a work assignment in the U. Click Therapeutics may at its business discretion decide to or refrain from obtaining, maintaining and/or extending the temporary visa status and/or sponsoring a colleague for permanent residency and /or employment eligibility, considering factors such as availability of qualified U.S. workers and the colleague's long-term prospects for securing lawful permanent residence, among other reasons. Employment applicants requiring immigration sponsorship must disclose, when initial application for employment is made, whether or not they are legally authorized to work for Click Therapeutics in the U.S. and, if so, whether that authorization permits them to work in the job they seek. In no case should Click Therapeutics support of a colleague's temporary visa application or sponsorship of a colleague for permanent residence be construed to guarantee success of that application or amend or otherwise invalidate the "at-will" employment relationship between the colleague and Click Therapeutics.
