Job Title: A&P Technician Job Description

The A&P Technician will work within the Global Jet program at the Tucson Business Aircraft Service Center, focusing on routine inspections, repairs, and modifications of customer aircraft. This role requires performing inspections as outlined by maintenance programs, troubleshooting aircraft systems, and ensuring all tasks are documented in accordance with manufacturer's manuals or FAA-approved data.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and modifications as required.

• Conduct only authorized work while promoting safety.

• Execute inspections as required by maintenance programs, modification, and inspection packages.

• Advise supervisor or lead on job status at all times.

• Maintain good housekeeping habits.

• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

• Perform assigned work to established standards and estimates routinely.

• Conduct system functional tests as required by maintenance programs and logically diagnose malfunctions.

• Understand and interpret prints.

• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or lead from time to time.

Essential Skills

• A&P license.

• 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificates required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on business aircraft is desired but not required.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a temperature-controlled facility located on the south side of Tucson International Airport. Employees must be flexible regarding shifts, as work may occur during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts, or weekends. The first week of employment includes orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
