Inspect, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, grills, refrigerators, dishwashers, and beverage systems Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and ensure reliable operation Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and sanitation standards through consistent compliance checks Respond promptly to maintenance requests and maintain accurate records of repairs, schedules, and parts inventory Support overall facility operations by assisting with general maintenance tasks and ensuring proper use and care of tools and equipment Guide kitchen team members on correct equipment use and care to promote safe and efficient operations More about you High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred Tradesmen License in Electrical, Gas Fitting, and HVAC (Journeyman or Master), and EPA Section 608 (refrigeration) certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment or in a similar facilities maintenance role Strong knowledge of electrical systems, gas equipment, and refrigeration principles, and familiarity with local health and safety codes and regulations Valid driver’s license Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance, or in trades such as electrical, refrigeration, plumbing Expanded knowledge of concrete, tile, and welding, ability to comply with company vehicle policy, and ability to adhere to all safety, risk management, and environmental policies and procedures Capacity to perform level one trade functions such as electrical motor troubleshooting to 220 volts, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, basic boiler operation and kitchen equipment repair Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, bending, and reaching Shift details Every weekend Days Holidays 8hr shift Evenings as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Delaware North at Shenandoah National Park
