Resumen del Puesto:
El General Laborer (Trabajador General) apoya las operaciones diarias realizando una variedad de tareas manuales para ayudar con la producción, el mantenimiento y la organización del patio. Este puesto garantiza que las áreas de trabajo estén limpias, que los materiales se manejen de manera segura y que el equipo esté preparado para su uso. El candidato ideal es responsable, trabajador y capaz de seguir instrucciones en un entorno de ritmo acelerado.
Funciones y Responsabilidades Esenciales:
- Cargar, descargar y mover materiales dentro del patio o la planta.
- Ayudar a los operadores y técnicos con la instalación, limpieza y mantenimiento básico del equipo.
- Mantener las áreas de trabajo, herramientas y equipos limpios y organizados.
- Realizar tareas generales de limpieza, incluyendo barrer, lavar con presión y retirar basura.
- Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad, incluyendo el uso del PPE requerido.
- Operar montacargas, patines hidráulicos u otro equipo según las instrucciones (se proporciona capacitación).
- Ayudar con inventarios, preparación de materiales y organización para los trabajos.
- Reportar inmediatamente cualquier condición insegura o equipo dañado al supervisor.
- Apoyar a otros departamentos o proyectos según sea necesario.
Calificaciones:
- Experiencia previa en trabajos generales, manufactura o industria petrolera es una ventaja.
- Capacidad para levantar hasta 50 lbs y realizar trabajo físico por períodos prolongados.
- Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre y en diversas condiciones climáticas.
- Se requiere asistencia confiable y una fuerte ética de trabajo.
- Debe poder seguir instrucciones verbales y escritas.
- Disposición para trabajar horas extras o fines de semana según sea necesario.
Ambiente de Trabajo:
- Exposición a ruido, maquinaria en movimiento y condiciones al aire libre.
- Requiere el uso de PPE como lentes de seguridad, guantes, botas con punta de acero y casco.
Horario y Pago:
- Tiempo completo; el horario varía según las necesidades del departamento.
- Pago: $16-$17/hr.
