Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Role: Physical Therapist Assistant, responsible for implementing physical therapy programs under supervision. Key Responsibilities Assist in administering treatments such as manual exercises, massage, traction, heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modalities. Instruct, motivate, and support patients/residents to improve skills and independence. Monitor and document patient responses, progress, and daily living skills. Design and adapt equipment, and instruct patients and families on use of adaptive devices. Report findings to the rehab team, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety and infection control standards. Participate in educational programs, maintain licensure, and perform miscellaneous duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited two-year Physical Therapist Assistant program, certified and licensed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of objects up to 25 pounds. Effective communication skills and ability to work within safety and regulatory guidelines. Ability to work indoors, travel locally, and handle some disagreeable conditions. Maintain professionalism, dependability, and adherence to hygiene, dress, and safety standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
